We are owners of an investment corporation. We first hired the service of JZW Law in June 2021 to help us close a commercial mortgage loan refinancing with a private lender. Janice of JZW Law was able to close the mortgage loan refinancing within a very tight deadline at a reasonable fee. To pay off the private lender, we have recently secured a commercial mortgage loan from Scotiabank. As a satisfied customer, we again reached out to Janice of JZW Law who helped us carry out the necessary legal works; which also included the registration and updating of our Corporate By-Laws. Janice managed to close the mortgage loan refinancing with Scotiabank on July 12, 2022, one day before the Bank of Canada announced the interest rate hike of 1% on July 13, 2022; by working on the weekends. As the final interest rate chargeable was determined only on the closing date, Janice has prevented us from being impacted by the higher interest rate following the announcement by the Bank of Canada.
